Administration of Users
MyQtest system is foreseen for simultaneous independent use by many various examination centers – organizations or companies. In that sense is also availability of administration interface, exams and all data relating to users created in such a way that certain organization or examination center operates fully independently, independent of other organizations using the same server infrastructure.
Safety and data confidentiality of each organization towards other organizations using the same infrastructure has been fully achieved. In that sense the organization of the system is developed in four levels:
a) Level of the whole system - represents the possibility to obtain data on all users, organizations (company departments) and exams supported by the system. This interface is used only by the main system administrator.
b) Level of the organization (examination center) - represents the highest administration level within an organization or organizational unit using the system. At that level it is possible to organize simpler entities (groups and subgroups of attendants) and give them certain rights of using exams, assign them administrators, create questions...
c) Group - represents the lowest operative organization unit within an organization. On that level it is possible to define administrators with authorizations only for that group (e.g. in one group there could be “find all employees in marketing”). They can have their administrator who doesn’t have the access to other groups, but is responsible for users and exams within his group.
d) Subgroup - functional entity by which individual attendants within some groups are granted the right of using a particular exam at particular time or time frame. On the level of a subgroup there is no administrator, but subgroups are serviced by a group administrator of the group or examiner. Examiner is responsible for following up exams of a particular subgroup and is lowest level administrator in the system.
Such an organizational structure enables protection of attendants’ data privacy, as well as of exams on all levels. In that sense myQtest system knows four levels of administrators:
1. Main Administrator - adds and deletes users, administrators, questions...
He has authorization on the entire system level. This person can be regarded as an enterprise level admin.
2. Company Administrator -person possessing certain rights on the level of his organization or large organizational unit.
3. Group Administrator - represents the lowest level of administration. He is responsible for users within his group.
4. Examiner - a person without authorization, except following up and scheduling exams of a certain subgroup.
